Senior Specialist - Employee Engagement & Internal Communication
An excellent opportunity in UAE where the incumbent shall be planning, developing and supervising the delivery of internal communications and employee engagement programs in order to support internal awareness of the Company’s corporate strategy, culture and values.
Supervises the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner.
Develops and implements consistent and realistic operational plans for the team in line with the Department objectives.
Contributes to the development of the Department business processes and operating procedures; develops and supervises the implementation of departmental policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with approved standards.
Compiles and provides input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitors expenditure against approved budget levels; Investigates, reports and reconciles any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
Develops and implements the Group’s internal communication plans to define objectives, metrics, communication tools, channels and target audience, and align to business needs.
Analyzes and reviews the effectiveness of internal communication messages, tools and channels, and continuously identify improvements to the communication strategy in order to ensure that communication is focused on driving business results.
Supervises the day-to-day activities of all internal communication programs and initiatives to ensure consistency, transparency and effectiveness of internal communication throughout the Group.
Reviews internal communication material and messages in order to ensure optimum internal promotion of the Group’s brands, internal strategic initiatives and projects.
Contributes in the development of an effective corporate communications system in order to reach out to all employees, deliver consistent messages and ensure a two-way communication stream.
Designs and conducts effective and efficient employee engagement surveys to evaluate existing communication and engagement channels.
Analyzes employee surveys results in order to measure communications effectiveness and identify areas for improving engagement and enablement. Supports business partners and leaders in successfully building action plans based on the analysis results.
Plans and supervises internal campaigns and culture transformation programs as needed to improve employee engagement and awareness in support of strategic initiatives and programs.
Bachelor Degree Business Administration, HR, Communication & equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive and senior-level roles in corporate communications. Preferably experience in a large-scale organization with complex and multi-sectorial business operations or experience working in various industries. At least 3 years in a managerial / supervisory position.
Understanding of the strategic role of internal communications to effect positive transformational change and enable the achievement of business objectives.
Strong knowledge of communication and influencing techniques and ability to deal with people across a wide range of functions and at all levels of the organization
Strong knowledge of the latest internal communications techniques and practices in order to continue to enhance internal communication efforts.
Strong knowledge of internal communications and employee engagement processes and tools.
